San Diego "Actor"

My friends think it's funny that I'm an "actor". I think that's funny because I'm not an actor. I primarily use my SAG card as a poker marker.

While a lot of them are nice people, 50% of actors are overpaid, uneducated, and untalented hacks. However, there's one thing that's worse than actors: the aspiring actor.

Here's a news flash:

Unless you do theater, film, or TV on a regular basis, you are not an actor.
You ARE NOT an actor if you occasionally do a commercial, tv show or film. (You are most likely a waiter.)

I am just someone who occaisionally does a commercial, tv show or film. So am I an aspiring actor? Nope, because I don't want to be an actor.

Why would they "cast" me, when I don't even want to be an actor?

The short answer is : No bullshit. I don't have too many illusions about the whole thing:

Acting is the easiest job there is on the planet. They tell you what to do, you do it, and then they mail you money that you don't really deserve. Wow!
I have no aspirations to be famous. I'm in it for the money.

Everybody needs to quit pretending they're so important. (Especially this asskisser.)
