Since the 2007 San Diego fires, there's been a lot of crap in the air I don't want to breath.
Here's the purifier I bought and recommend.
After looking around, I found what I think is the best one: The Air-O-Swiss Digital Air Washer 2055D . Yes, at $330 it's expensive as hell. But medical bills are much more expensive, so why mess around?
Here's the reasons I chose this unit:
- It's a purifier and humidifier.
- You don't have to buy filters - just clean the thing out every 2 weeks or so.
- 10 year warranty.
- There's a digital readout to see the current humidity level in the room.
After using, I have to say I'm happy so far. Anyway, get it at Amazon for $330, or you can call around to Linen N' Things locations (where I picked mine up for $350).

Humidification System
