How to make your own “Coke Blak”
Coke Blak was supposed to be Coca-Cola’s new drink for the age of caffeinated computing. It was quickly discontinued.
The idea behind Coke Blak was that it was Coke with some coffee “essence” in it. I don’t know what the hell coffee “essence” is.
Coke with coffee in it is also called a “Vincent Vega” in some parts, as well as “Coke, with some coffee in it”.
A 4-pack of Coke Blak ran $6. And the bottles were really, really, really small.
So I figured I’d make my own.
My recipe for Homemade Coke Blak is covered under the GNU General Public License (not really) so you can make your own at home, mod it, etc.
Now I should say that I don’t know if this is the recipe that Coke used, but to me, it tastes exactly the same – maybe even better – than the “real thing”.
Brian Chernicky’s recipe for homemade “Coke Blak”
